For the fourth time, a Navy ship will bear the name San Diego.
The amphibious transport dock ship San Diego will be christened tomorrow in Pascagoula, Miss., the next step in the long journey toward its namesake city.
The 684-foot ship will be delivered to the Navy in 2011, but may not show up its home port of San Diego until late next year or early 2012.
